Preparations

We have been working hard yesterday and today to prepare our house, my parents house and my grandmother's house for Hurricane Ike. All windows have been covered, all loose items picked up, and cars in the garage. We have done everything we can possibly do to secure our house. We have plenty of bottles of water and non perishable foods to last several days. We are expecting to loose electricity and they are saying it might be 2 weeks before it is restored. Now we just have to sit and wait for Ike to arrive.
